Shopping list and weekly menu for weeks 5-6 of 2014

I am splurging a little this shopping time, instead of the normal $50 a week and am taking my stocking money as well and spending $100 a week, this is not going to be a regular occurrence.

Total for grocery for the month of January is $204.76, its not too bad it breaks down to $51.19 a week.

The menu for the next two weeks is going to be the same.

Friday 1/31/14
Dinner-Tacos, homemade tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.


Saturday 2/1/14 & 2/8/14
 Breakfast- 1/2c. orange juice, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
 Lunch-Grilled Cheese (peasant bread), and tomato soup.
Dinner-Chicken, fried green beans w/bacon & onion, salad w/honey mustard dressing, apple pie.


 Sunday 2/2/14 & 2/9/14
Breakfast- 1/2c. milk, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
Lunch-Grilled Cheese (peasant bread), and tomato soup.
Dinner-Elk steak, baked potato w/sour cream, peasant bread, salad, apple pie.

Monday 2/3/14 & 2/10/14
Breakfast- 1/2c. orange juice, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
Lunch-Roasted elk meat sandwich, dill pickle, blueberry muffin, baked apple, carrot sticks, 1" cube of cheese, milk or orange juice.
Dinner-Salmon loaf, rosemary new potatoes, creamed cauliflower, and tomato-avocado salad.

Tuesday 2/4/14 & 2/11/14
Breakfast- 1/2c. milk, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
Lunch-Roasted elk meat sandwich, raisin bread w/cream cheese, baked apples, carrot sticks, 1" cube of cheese, milk or orange juice.
Dinner-Pork roast w/applesauce, baked potatoes, asparagus, salad, and strawberry or cherry angel food cake.

Wednesday 2/5/14 & 2/12/14
Breakfast- 1/2c. orange juice, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
Lunch-Roasted elk meat sandwich, banana bread w/cream cheese, baked apple, carrot sticks, 1" cube of cheese, milk or orange juice.
Dinner-Venison steaks, baked potatoes, salad, vanilla pudding pie.

Thursday 2/6/14 & 2/13/14
Breakfast- 1/2c. milk, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
Lunch-Roasted elk sandwich, Raisin bread w/cream cheese, baked apple, carrot sticks, 1" cube of cheese, milk or orange juice.
Dinner-Salisbury steaks, gravy, mashed  potatoes, corn, sautéed onions, Chocolate pudding pie.

Friday 2/7/14 & 2/14/14
Breakfast- 1/2c. orange juice, 1 piece of peasant toast, 1 fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, 1c. oatmeal(blueberries, banana, or strawberries)
Lunch-Roasted elk sandwich, banana bread w/cream cheese, baked apple, carrot sticks, 1" cube of cheese, milk or orange juice.
*Dinner-Elk meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, peasant bread, apple crumble.
